...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Monroe,
southern Morgan, northern Brown, southwestern Johnson, east central
Clay and northern Owen Counties through 330 PM EDT...
At 253 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles northwest of Spencer to 8 miles west
of Martinsville to 7 miles north of Nashville. These storms were
nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Martinsville, Nashville, Morgantown, Gosport, Paragon, Peoga,
Mahalasville, Quincy, Helmsburg, Beanblossom, Gnaw Bone,
Patricksburg, Spearsville, Devore, and Lake Lemon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
