...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Decatur,
southeastern Brown, Bartholomew, northwestern Jackson and
northwestern Jennings Counties through 1000 PM EDT...
At 934 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Columbus to 11 miles south of Nashville.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Elizabethtown, Hartsville, Jonesville, Spurgeons Corner,
Azalia, Newbern, Waymansville, and Grammer.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 56 and 70.
