...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Vigo,
northeastern Sullivan, southwestern Clay, west central Owen and
northwestern Greene Counties through 1045 PM EDT...
At 1021 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Sullivan, or 22 miles south of Terre Haute, moving
northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jasonville, Shelburn, Dugger, Clay City, Hymera, and Coalmont.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
