SOUTHEASTERN OWEN...NORTHWESTERN LAWRENCE AND GREENE COUNTIES THROUGH
1145 AM EDT...
At 1109 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles west of Bloomington, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lyons, Newberry, Indiana University, Bloomfield, Smithville,
Bloomington, Lake Lemon, Harrodsburg, Freedom, Bartlettsville,
Yellowwood Lake, Solsberry, Monroe Reservoir, Fairfax State
Recreation Area, Woodville Hills, Worthington, Charles Deam
Wilderness, Owensburg, Unionville, and Ellettsville.
