...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Morgan
and southwestern Johnson Counties through 615 PM EDT...
At 549 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Franklin to near
Martinsville. Movement was north at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. Slow moving
storms may pose a Flash Flood threat over the next hour.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mahalasville, Morgantown, Bargersville, and Trafalgar.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
