...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Monroe,
southwestern Brown and north central Lawrence Counties through 600 PM
EDT...
At 536 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles northeast of Bedford, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Elkinsville, Bartlettsville, and Charles Deam Wilderness.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
