...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of western Lawrence
County through 545 PM EDT...
At 509 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bedford, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. Slow moving
storms over the same area may pose a Flash Flood threat
over the next hour.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Oolitic, Silverville, Bedford, Williams, and Avoca.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
