* At 834 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles northeast of Newport to near Brazil, moving
northeast at 65 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

North Salem, New Richmond, Carpentersville, Lizton, Ulen, Mellott,
Darlington, Russellville, Ladoga, Dayton, Bridgeton, Bainbridge,
Yeddo, Linden, Brazil, Shades State Park, Roachdale, Kingman,
Knightsville, and Alamo.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 132 and 169.
Interstate 70 near mile marker 21.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 16 and 59.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central,
north central and west central Indiana.
