Ohio River at Newburgh Dam affecting Vanderburgh, Warrick,
Daviess, Spencer and Henderson Counties.
.Recent heavy rainfall that fell upstream along the Ohio River basin
will result in river levels rising this weekend into early next
week. Newburgh Lock and Dam is forecast to rise above flood stage on
Sunday and crest around 41.6 feet on Tuesday.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.
* WHEN…From Sunday morning to Friday, February 14.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CST Thursday the stage was 36.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Sunday morning to a crest of 41.6 feet Tuesday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Friday, February 14.
– Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
