Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…
White River at Elliston.
.Rainfall amounts of around an inch and a half to over two inches
over central Indiana from Saturday evening through Sunday is causing
elevated levels on area rivers. Another system moving through
tonight and Tuesday could bring additional rainfall amounts of half
an inch to an inch, and this is expected to keep river levels
elevated and bring some minor flooding along lower portions of the
White starting Tuesday at Elliston. Additional minor flooding at
other locations is possible but confidence is lower on locations
along the Wabash or East Fork White getting above flood stage.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…White River at Elliston.
* WHEN…From late tonight to early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, River approaching River Road north of CR
150 W in Greene County. Some low lying agricultural land begins
to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:20 AM EST Monday the stage was 14.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late
overnight to 18.4 feet early Wednesday morning and remain
above flood through Thursday. It will then fall below flood
stage early Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
