Up to two inches (locally three) of snow by this evening across central Indiana. Welcome Winter!? Most of the accumulation will arrive in the noon-2PM time frame in the northwest including Lafayette. The Indy metro follows in the 2-4PM time frame, and the snow intensified from 4-6 PM in the southeast. A period of about 4-6 hours of snowfall is expected, with briefly stronger rates possible. The accumulation will be mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces, though localized slick spots on bridges and overpasses cannot be ruled out.
Ho ho ho! The bigger snow window for central Indiana opens this afternoon. That snow behind the cheddar curtain in Wisconsin will be dropping down to the south and southeast. Up to two inches is possible for most. SNOMG! Track it with https://t.co/jIbOYm3KfU. pic.twitter.com/DBcJMqPQ6A
