It’s the coldest morning since April 25th!
Morning Lows:
35 Anderson
36 Muncie and Lima
39 Indy
42 Lafayette
Lafayette wasn’t as cold because of low level, lake enhanced clouds. Those clouds are expanding southward into the forecast area. Things will clear first around Lafayette this afternoon, and in the rest of central Indiana this evening.
The center of the surface high will move into the area tonight, helping to create mostly clear skies and calmer winds. These conditions will allow for radiational cooling tonight with most of central Indiana expected to drop near to below freezing. The Indy metro is expected to stay just above freezing as well as areas southward, between I-69 and I-65.
