The high last Saturday in Indy and Muncie and Cincinnati was 94! Temps were in the 90s on a widespread basis. Time for a cool change today. The remnants of Helene show up as low pressure in Kentucky. The low is stacked up into the upper atmosphere so it won’t move much this weekend.
The rain won’t be as intense today, and the wind won’t be as strong. Here are the peak wind gusts from Friday:
68 mph INDIANAPOLIS
62 mph CINCINNATI
58 mph COLUMBUS IN
53 mph MUNCIE
48 mph BLOOMINGTON
45 mph LIMA OHIO
44 mph LAFAYETTE
Almost 1.5″ fell in Bloomington. Just over an inch in Indy, and over two inches in Cincinnati.
