A two-week dry spell is about to crack! A small preview this evening as an upper trough pivots from the upper Midwest to northern Ontario. At the surface a cold front reaches central Indiana. Some showers and storms are possible in Lafayette and Kokomo by around 3 or 4pm, and in the rest of central Indiana by 6pm. Some could even have large hail or damaging wind gusts.
A better rain and storm chance arrives Sunday and stays through Monday! Let’s hope some of these rain projections verify. (Over an inch possible.)
