The stagnant weather pattern holds on for a couple more days. Strong high pressure sits over New England, sending us a dry easterly flow. High temperatures are running about ten degrees above average.
An area of low pressure organizing along the southeastern coast of the US will wobble westward later Tuesday, and brings Indiana (at least the eastern half of Indiana) a chance of a few showers through Thursday. Right now that low is producing winds to gale force north of its center. The low could become a subtropical or tropical storm during the next day or two. The extra clouds and spotty showers will hold the highs back to the mid 80s Tuesday through Thursday, but the sun makes a come back Friday through next weekend, with highs back into the upper 80s.
