This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
Heat index values will climb to over 100 degrees Tuesday and
Wednesday afternoons. There is an Excessive Heat Watch for areas near
and northwest of I-69 Tuesday.
Thunderstorms are possible over all or parts of Central Indiana
Tuesday night through Wednesday evening. The best chances for
widespread storms will be Friday afternoon and night ahead of a cold
front.
A few strong storms are possible Tuesday night and Wednesday with
gusty winds and hail as the main threats along with cloud to ground
lightning and locally heavy rainfall.
