…Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of eastern Lawrence and
Jackson Counties through 445 PM EDT…
At 402 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles east of Bedford to 9 miles south of
Brownstown. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Seymour, Brownstown, Crothersville, Medora, Vallonia, Norman,
Pleasant View, Kurtz, and Freetown.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 39 and 48.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
south central Indiana.
