As the high settles in to our east and low pressure approaches from the west, a strong southwest flow sets up for Thursday. Wind gusts tomorrow could hit 40 mph.
The red line you see to the west on that map represents warmer air that will flow back into the state as the surface low moves to the northeast. The cold front will approach Friday night, and then stall across central Indiana through Saturday. That means lots of clouds and a few spotty showers.
Low pressure will form along the front Sunday, increasing the rain chance and giving it the kick needed to move it out by Monday.
We may see over an inch of rain by late Sunday night.
