Some good news after a long week of wintry weather? The drought monitor confirms what you’ve probably already guessed–dry weather is no longer an immediate threat in the Midwest.
The previous week brought 2-3 inches of snow…and the earliest recorded single digit temps to Indianapolis, as the temp dropped to 8 on Tuesday morning, and 9 on Wednesday. The average low this time of year is in the mid 30s and the average high is in the low 50s. We stay below average for at least another week. In fact the longer range outlook also promises more cooler temps.
