How…hot…is it? This map shows expected highs Saturday. The deeper the red–the greater the departure from normal. The blue line with the triangles does the biggest dividing. That cold front will be east of central Indiana by Monday. That’s when we get relief. Until then an Excessive Heat Warning means heat index numbers of 100-110 in the afternoon hours, mainly Friday and Saturday. BTW: the highest temperature last summer in Indy was 95, on May 28.
That cold front Sunday could bring a few severe storms.
