Central Indiana is once again hotter than Anchorage Alaska! Temps are heading back to normal up there. Anchorage set an all-time record of 90, but the all-time high temperature recorded statewide is 100 at Fort Yukon from 1915. Fairbanks reached an all-time high of 99…exactly 100 years ago.
We will get a brief break from 90-ish high temps Thursday and Friday. Credit a cold front that will move through overnight.
Ahead of that front today: showers and storms will develop, and much of the country has heat advisories and such. Radar and warnings any time from My Huge Radar.
