The New Year means I have to say goodbye to a partner of 11 years, as Anderson University finalizes the sale of WQME, 98.7 The Song. Thanks to all behind the scenes and to Kurt Wallace and Matt Rust, my bosses/morning hosts for lots of laughs along the way.
During my time with the University I got to teach a class in Media and met some great kids. In fact I saw one of them, Caleb Hatch, on one of my recent days in Fort Wayne, He’s now an anchor and producer/sidekick on WOWO radio.
Another Anderson guy, Jeremy Beutel, is my boss at Freedom 95. Happy to have been a part of the program for all these years, and sorry to see it end. Best wishes to AU in the future.
