What do you do with a month that literally greets you by spitting? November in central Indiana started with those spitting showers of snow and rain. Missed the trick-or-treaters by about six hours…I saw reports of the snow first around 2am on Facebook.
November starts with an average high of 59 in Indy. Drops to 45 by the end of the month. October ended up being 3.2 degrees above average. Very warm air in the middle of the month overpowered the temperature crash of the last week.
Precipitation was just a little below average. Indy is still well above average for the year, but behind on meteorological Fall (Sep, Oct, Nov) because of the dry September.
