RAW! That’s the forecast for the big Thanksgiving travel day tomorrow. Steady rain and a brisk breeze are likely, starting late tonight. One computer model (via WeatherBELL) promises up to an inch of rain. (Enlarge images by clicking on them.)
The reason for the raw is another storm system, which is potent, but not as strong as last week’s weather maker. Here’s the progress. The sequence is Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning, and Thursday morning.
THANKSGIVING DAY
If you’re running the Drumstick Dash, or any other Thursday morning event, the temp will be in the upper 30s to around 40. A west wind will blow around 10 mph. It will be dry. Meanwhile: rain, and maybe some snow mixed in at the Macy’s Parade in NYC.
