WIKIPOTEETIA The last time Indy had a day where the average temp was below normal was….July 18! The last 60 days have been warm over much of the USA. This is not the week you want to be vacationing along the Gulf Coast. BTW: The Gulf of Mexico has now been hurricane-free for almost three full years, the longest period since record-keeping began 165 years ago. A major hurricane (Cat 3 or higher) hasn’t hit the U.S. Gulf or East Coast in more than a decade. The biggest moisture story around here this week will again be the humidity, which returns tomorrow and stays until Saturday. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION Yesterday’s high was 88 in Indy. My forecast was 85. INDY ALMANAC The average high today is 84 and the average low is 65. Records are 98 and 48. The sun rises at 6:51am and sets at 8:50pm.
