What are we gonna do with you, Muncie? Recent rains still haven’t erased the “abnormally dry” conditions from the weekly Drought Monitor, just released this morning. The condition is also the same for Marion, and a good chunk of the northern quarter of the state. The drought is much much worse in parts of the south and southwest USA. Up to an inch of rain could fall through the weekend from scattered showers and storms Friday through the weekend. The big story for the next few days isn’t the rain – it’s the heat.
