Carbon copy, xerox, copy-and-paste…the story is the same today as yesterday. There is a slight risk of severe weather for most of the state. The biggest risk is damaging wind this afternoon, and large hail later this evening.
Two rounds of storms are likely today. One band of storms from the morning could hold together and enter the state around noon, perhaps holding together through the afternoon as it moves eastward. This is a computer projection of radar at 2pm.
Another complex of storms may move through mid to late evening, again approaching from the west. Here’s another snapshot of computer modeling at 11pm.
PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION
Yesterday’s high was 87 in Indy. My forecast was 88. Clouds and rain were the most sparse in the northeast quarter of the state, so Muncie hit 91 and it was also above 90 in Ft. Wayne. Indy hasn’t made it to 90 yet this month. It happened 8 times last month.
INDY ALMANAC
The average high today is 85 and the average low is 66. Records are 103 and 49. The sun rises at 6:29am and sets at 9:13pm.
