Not since September 8th of last year. That was the last 90 degree day in Indy. We’re off and running today, starting a period that will bring us a couple of 90+ days. And we are not alone. The 90s are forecast from the Rockies to the East Coast. Only New York and New England are left out. (Click for full size.)
The pattern is pushing the biggest storms northward. Hail could be huge again today in Montana, and there is a slight risk of severe weather in both Chicago and New York City.
Some of the storms to the north could drop into the northern third of Indiana later today as they diminish from encounter more stable air.
