The Speedway archives for May 17, 1993: “a light day of track activity saw John Andretti shaking down a car for Willy T. Ribbs at Walker Motorsports. Andretti hit 220.157 mph in the car, the fastest non-qualified car of the afternoon.” All I remember is that *some*body’s water broke, and we exited, as quickly as your ever can from that place. The next day this guy arrived and it wasn’t long ’til those Legos in this picture became Nintendos and 500 different gaming systems I don’t remember. Now his favorite toy is called a Wacom and he just did some artwork for (what else?) a game, and got paid for it, which of course makes Dad proud.
