As it pulls away early this evening the shower threat will cease and desist. BUT WAIT, there’s more. Here’s another front moving through Friday night.
That front will be the focus of Friday night showers and maybe some thunder. Behind it, Saturday: lots of puffy clouds, and a big breeze that will keep chills in the 40s all day. Upper 30s are expected early Sunday morning, but I don’t see a widespread frost, in part because of a still-active wind.
Potentially severe weather today and tomorrow will also be focused on those fronts and on places that will see their arrival at peak heating times. That would mean parts of eastern Indiana have a marginal risk today, and that most of the threat will stay west of us tomorrow.
Yesterday’s high of 82 in Indy was the first day this month over 80. We had five of them in April!
