The red T’s on this chart represent tornado reports from yesterday, which were concentrated in Illinois. There was some damage, but I saw no reports of injuries. The map also show reports of high wind as W’s. Reports of large hail are shown with H’s. There was one hail report from around Newton Indiana, but otherwise just a few overnight showers and storms.

That was all associated with a cold front that moved through Indiana overnight. There was little rain associated with that front outside of the northwest part of the state. (Lafayette measured .05″.)

Even behind the front temps will still be above average today, but not as warm as yesterday’s super 70s. (Super 70 Tuesday!)

75 Shelbyville
73 Indianapolis
72 Lafayette
71 Muncie

Low pressure digs into the Great Lakes over the next few days. It will be a little cooler tomorrow, and a lot cooler Friday into the weekend. Additionally, it will be be breezy today and Thursday, with gusts up to around 45 mph today. That’s high enough for a Wind Advisory until 8pm. The biggest breezes will be in the northern part of the state, closest to the parent area of low pressure. Bloomington and Columbus, not so much.
