The Indy rain total for June is 4.70 inches. The average to this point is 2.53, so we’re cruising toward double the normal numbers. For the year: about two inches behind, with 17.83 inches.
More of that rain is aimed right at the heart of central Indiana today. This computer projection runs through 7pm.
The precip may pause late this afternoon and evening, which is welcome news for the start of the Marion County Fair. I’ll be judging the Fair Queen contest tonight.
