Yeah, the real dump in Rome was last FebÂruÂary. Ostia was magÂiÂcal this past week b/c of nice coatÂing and lack of peoÂple. Itâ€™s one of the reaÂsons itâ€™s such a pleasÂant place to visit and workâ€“ so close to Rome and yet worlds away. I think itâ€™s one of the best sites that accuÂrately repÂreÂsents what ancient Rome was likeâ€“ and itâ€™s usuÂally ignored by the Roman tourist. BetÂter for usâ€“ and betÂter for theÂ site.
