Good to day to walk off some Christmas cookies. It will start sunny, and clouds will thicken in the afternoon. Bonus: winds will be fairly light.
CHRISTMAS WRAP
No White Christmas, obviously. The last proper White Christmas in Indy was 2010. We came close two years ago. Remember? There was 7 inches of snow the day after Christmas in 2012. Another 5 inches fell that year before New Years Eve.
We’ve only had ONE episode of snow over one inch so far this season – back in the middle of November. The season to date total is 2.8 inches. Average by now is 6.3 inches. Last year at this point? 8.9 inches.
INDY ALMANAC
The average high today is 36 and the average low is 22. Records are 67 and -5. The sun rises at 8:05 and sets at 5:27.
PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION
