There is a risk of brief freezing drizzle between about 7-11am in the Indy Metro area. Moisture and warmer temps will be approaching from the southwest. The question is how quickly those surface temps hit 32, and that looks to happen just before noon. Here are some radar simulations via weatherbell.com.
The best chances for showers today will be south of Indy. Rain still looks likely tomorrow, and it could be heavy in the afternoon and evening. Over an inch could fall in central and especially southern Indiana.
Most of the seven day forecast remains a little below average. BTW, the Weather Service reports that Indy is currently tied for the 3rd coolest year on record with a 51.6° avg temp. The last month with an avg temp above normal? June.
Sunday shouldn’t be too bad…it’ll be our next nicest day after yesterday’s sweet afternoon sunshine. The moonshine wasn’t so bad either.
Good news: beautiful night. Bad news: still don't have full voice, if I get jumped no one will hear cry for help. pic.twitter.com/nIOMvKTjr0
