Today>yesterday, because wind today<wind Thursday. And today is dry, with some sun. Lower clouds will scatter out from west to east in the morning. Mid and high level clouds will stream back toward the state late in the day.
PEAK WINDS YESTERDAY:
40 mph Indianapolis
40 mph South Bend
38 mph Terre Haute
37 mph Lafayette
37 mph Muncie
31 mph Bloomington
There’s a slight shower chance Saturday, mainly north of Indianapolis from an upper level system and a cold front. Clearing will come Saturday Night, and you should expect a frosty Sunday morning.
Temperatures next week take a shellackin’…and you can Blame Nuri. The remnants of the super typhoon will evolve into an intense storm off the coast of Alaska this weekend. That energy will cause the jet stream to buckle allowing a Polar Plung of air into the eastern US next week.
