A sluggish swath of rain continues creeping in from the west. As of 1pm Lafayette has measured just under a quarter of an inch since late morning, with about a third of an inch in Terre Haute. Rain officially began at 1pm in Indy. It’s more of a rain thing than a thunder thing.
Based on current trends the rain threat should end by around 3pm in the Haute, around 4 in Lafayette, around 6 in the Indy Metro, around 7 in Muncie, and after sunset in Richmond, where obviously the rain will arrive latest.
At this time I don’t see more organized, widespread rain after that until Sunday.
