The cold front continues moving slowly east. Winds have now shifted to the northwest in Greencastle. The cold front is represented here by the thin line of showers shown at 4:45pm on the Huge Radar. It should hit the Indy Metro area around 6pm, with one more round of showers, possibly with some thunder. Behind the front tonight: cloudy with a few showers and temps falling back in the low 50s. Another area of low pressure brings rain midday Wednesday through Thursday morning. Expect a much cooler high around 60 tomorrow.
Having the front in the area today made for some interesting temp differences. Days like this pose the potential for big misses on a forecast. The idea of cooler west/warmer east was correct, but it still got hotter than expected. The forecast high is in parenthesis.
