In this morning’s @indystar post and video I mentioned a scenario where severe storms could fire in Illinois, but stay to the west of Indiana this afternoon. So far that’s the case, with a Tornado Watch that covers parts of Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. Storms around the Mississippi River early in the afternoon will be pulled to the northeast and north through early evening. Meanwhile as the warm front moves into central Indiana it will help to focus showers and some storms over the southeast half of the state through the afternoon. At this time severe weather is not expected there. Follow radar and warnings on My Huge Radar page.
