It’s just my two cents, but—get out there today! You’ll find sunshine…and less wind than on Friday.
Get out, because a cold front is sliding southward today, setting the stage for a much colder Sunday. And low pressure to the south will decorate that stage with lots of clouds, and winds gusting to 30 mph. Which is not bad as the winds yesterday.
Highest Gusts Friday:
52 mph Indianapolis
50 mph Bloomington
48 mph Shelbyville
47 mph Muncie
42 mph Terre Haute
39 mph Lafayette
That traveling cold front will cause some big temp spreads today, from around 40 in South Bend, to the upper 40s in Lafayette and Muncie, to around 50 in Richmond, and the low to mid 50s to Indy. Terre Haute and Bloomington could see the upper 50s, and Evansville hits the mid 60s.
The South gets payback tomorrow, with a chance of snow from Indy southward. Could be an inch from Bloomington southward. St. Pat’s Day still looks dry and cold, with some blue sky to compliment the green.
