Today will be the ninth consecutive day with temperatures not getting above average. It’s probably going to take a few more days. We’ll come close Friday, and should get above normal Monday.
After another cold start (going into today the Indy record low is 2 degrees, from 1873) it won’t be quite as frosty in the afternoon.
Good news: no major storms any time soon. A clipper does appear to pass just north of central Indiana Wednesday. There could be a few flurries or snow showers from Lafayette to Kokomo to Muncie northward.
Another clipper moves in Saturday, with a better chance of rain showers during the day, and rain/snow showers Saturday night.
INDY ALMANAC:
The average high today is 47 and the average low is 29. Records are 78 and 2 (from 1873.) The sunrise time is 7:14 and the sun sets at 6:40.
PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION:
Yesterday’s high was 18. The forecast was 19.
