Back to cold and dry weather today as Arctic high pressure returns to steer the ship for a few days. The last of the weekend storm system sags southward, and they sky will be decreasingly cloudy. Highs will be only be in the mid to upper teens, with about 20 degrees expected in Bloomington and Columbus.
No big storms are expected this week. And it turns out the one this past weekend wasn’t all that big. Still, the 2.4 inches received in Indy was enough to push the “snow year’ total to 54.7 inches, which means we are now just 3.6 inches of snow away from setting an all time record.
Snow totals from yesterday:
3.0″ Anderson
2.5″ Bloomington
2.0″ Terre Haute
2.0″ Zionsville
2.0″ Fishers
2.0” Carmel
Our next chance to add a little to the tote board will be a snow and rain chance Friday night and Sunday.
INDY ALMANAC:
