February 24, 2000 – Indianapolis set a record high of 71. If you’re into numbers: the record low of -2 was set exactly 100 years before that on Feb 24, 1900.
February 24, 1990 – High winds brought blowing and drifting snow to northern and central Indiana. Winds gusting to 47 mph combined with 6 to 8 inches of snow to create white-out conditions around South Bend IN. Over 60 were injured in one accident along I-69 in Huntington County.
