February 22, 1971 – A tornado near Greensburg IN caused damage along an intermittent path of 10 miles. It overturned an airplane at the Greensburg Airport.
February 22, 1986 – Almost two weeks of heavy rain and snow finally ended in northern and central California. There was widespread flooding and mudslides across northern and central California from heavy rain and snow. In the Sierra Nevada Range, a place called Bucks Lake measured 49.6 inches of rain during the twelve day period.
