indystar video I mentioned a 1-3 inch total for central Indiana, with 2-4 inches from Lafayette to Muncie northward, and 3-6 inches around South Bend and Michiana. From what I’ve seen this afternoon I would suspect we’ll end up toward the higher amounts. Happy New Year! The South Bend area will be hit by two different episodes. Snow is expected to develop north of a warm front Tuesday evening and continue into Tuesday night and Wednesday along and north of Highway 30 in Indiana. Roads will be snow covered and slick New Years Eve & New Years Day. A more potent system looks to exit the southern Plains Wednesday night and intensify across the Ohio River Valley region on Thursday. That will be the period where the biggest snow falls in central Indiana. Some additional accumulation is also likely in northern Indiana. More Tuesday morning here, online, and on air!]]>
