Normal is the New Normal. Wednesday’s weather is quiet and within a degree or two of the average high temperature of 50 in Indy. Winds will be on the light side again today – so another shot at the leaves before they get a little wet Thursday and Friday.
Clouds will thicken this afternoon in advance of our next weather maker, but there’s nothing abnormal about this system. No storms of either the thunder or snow variety. Rainfall amounts shouldn’t get past about half an inch. The showers could begin this evening around Terre Haute and Lafayette, and the chance will spread into central Indiana overnight. Rain could fall at any time Thursday and Friday, but it won’t be a constant companion. Clouds are likely to be pretty constant.
The weekend turns colder, with winds picking up again Saturday midday and afternoon and a few flurries flying. Teens are likely by Saturday night, and we’ll stay in the 20s Sunday.
It’s possible that all of Thanksgiving week remains dry in central Indiana. Here’s hoping your turkey isn’t dry, and everything at dinner…is normal?
