Another beautiful day is ahead, after some patchy fog early. Yesterday’s high 76 in Indy was the coolest since August 15. It was also 76 in Lafayette, Bloomington, and Terre Haute. Muncie only made it to 73. Our average high this time of year is the low 80s. We’ll be close to that today. High pressure will slide off to the southeast today, and the clockwise circulation around the system will yield a west wind from around 5-10 mph. A weak cold front moves through the state from north to south late tonight. I think the main effect will be a partial increase in clouds from around Midnight to Noon Thursday. Temps will also dip again slightly Thursday, but start a gradual rise Friday. We’ll be above average by the weekend, and even notice the humidity again by Sunday. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 82 and the average low is 61. Records are 98 and 46. The sun rises at 7:16 and it sets at 8:11. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 76.
