Indy got a trace of snow showers yesterday. That system is moving along to the East. An inch or two of snow is likely from around Massachusetts, down through NYC and back to Philly. A few places could see 4″ in south central Pennsylvania and north & west of NYC.
Storms are possible along the Gulf Coast, from Texas over to the Florida panhandle.
Think it got cold here after Thanksgiving? Last week Valentine, Nebraska saw its temperature fall from a record 76° at 3 p.m. on November 21st to 10° by 7 a.m. on November 23rd. That’s a drop of 66° in just 40 hours. That would be no steps forward, and several back:)
Precipitation was persistent for much of the first part of Fall, but it seems we’ve settled back to a very dry pattern. Indy has only seen 1.33 inches of rain in November. The average is 3.22. For the year: 35.42 inches, about 3 and a third below normal. Our next chance for showers is slight, and comes with the warmer air Saturday.
