It always seems to be hot for the Fishers Freedom Festival Parade. If you’re going, please wave back when I roll past (look carefully – sometimes I walk) Sunday afternoon.
The biggest weather news nationally is a new Tropical system. “Debby” is a downer down in the Gulf Of Mexico. Tropical Storm Warnings are out for parts of the Louisiana coast, although not including New Orleans as of Sunday morning. Debby is expected to move a little northward today, with a gradual westward turn tonight or Monday morning, still over the northern Gulf Of Mexico. Maximum sustained winds Sunday morning were near 50 mph.
It doesn’t appear Debby does anything for us this week. Our next rain chance after today is a slim one Saturday – the last day of this dry dry month.
There is a slight shower and storm chance tonight, and a few of those could be severe IF they materialize. Otherwise, hotter for a day.
