Gonna be Downtown this week? Hope to see ya. Say hi. Take a picture. Tag me! Here are some of the places I know I’ll be:
PET PALS TAPING
5pm Monday. Patty Spitler and I will be taping Super segments for the next PPTV show at about 5pm on Monument Circle. Look for a couple of Yellow Rose Carriage horses, a really big dog, and two humans.
PAUL POTEET’S GOTTA EAT!
5pm Wednesday. I’ll be back downtown Wednesday in Touchdown Alley at the Super Bowl Village as one of the media types sampling sandwiches. The publishers of Indy Monthly put together a list of the 46 best sandwiches throughout Indiana and those 46 sandwiches have gone through several rounds of voting to get down to the final two sandwiches. Your finalists? The Bratwurst from the Schnitzelbank in Jasper and the Mile High Club from Rock Cola 50s Cafe on the east side of Indy. The media folks will “weigh-in” on the Final Two.
JEFF SATURDAY’S CELEBRATE THE CITY
8pm Wednesday. Jeff and a bunch of his current and former NFL buddies will be hanging out at the Skyline Club Wednesday Night. You do NOT have to be a member to go, but you do need to get tickets ahead of time. I’ll be “on the (red) carpet” chatting up all the beautiful people. Ticket price includes open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, midnight breakfast buffet, live music by the band Zanna-Doo, Dancing, Games, Awards, Prizes and Gifts.
SUPER SMILEY & SCOTTY’S EGGS & KEGS TAILGATE KICK OFF
7am Friday. Live from Scotty’s Downtown at the Epicenter Of The Party Universe on the eve of the Biggest Party Weekend in Indy history. It all begs for eggs and kegs and David. The whole show will be on hand, and I’m guessing it’s going to get out of hand.
SMILEY MORNING SHOW…IN THE AFTERNOON
3pm Friday. Live from The Huddle!
